Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

Just wanted to give you an update of the new property we picked up…it’s looking very, very promising!  We’re seeing lots of good deer sign while getting everything ready for the season.   Setting up new properties for our guys is a welcomed challenge.  It give us the opportunity to keep our hunting skills fine tuned and it excites us to pass these new areas on to our guests.  Look forward to it!!

God bless…

Opening Dove Weekend…

Thursday, September 3rd, 2009

We had a great opening day with many of our guys getting their limit of doves!  We had a great time telling stories and celebrating our 5th year of opening the Dos Plumas Ranch!

David who has hunted with us in the past, brought his brother and father to blow the cobweb out of their shotguns…Tom/father sent us this email of appreciation.  We appreciate you Tom and look forward to having you out again!

Allen,

Just a note of appreciation to you and your staff for a top notch dove hunting trip. If you didn’t get your limit you were shooting blanks. My two sons were kind enough to give me a hunting trip to Dos Plumas (instead of season tickets to football) Best gift I could have gotten. I love to go dove hunting but am a lousy shot. After a case of shells, I crept closer to my daily limit of 15, LOTS OF FUN though. Looking forward to the great meals after hunting was a winner in itself. The accommodations are top notch and airconditioning is the standard for day and night with TV available should it be desired. A friendly staff was at your finger tips and the head guy “ALLEN” was present with war stories and 5500 pound HOGZILLA stories.

Allen’s rules are for the safety of all with a touch of business thrown. Couldn’t ask for anything different.

Allen, I still have one question, how much is it going to cost me to clean and mount the bigger doves I selected. My wife is not going to believe that everyone else went and got something they could hang on the wall. Oh well, we’ll work that out.

THANKS A BUNCH for a great trip!

p.s. let me know if you get the giraffe in stock. GOOD HUNTING (tew)
