Pics as promised….

Thursday, December 24th, 2009

It’s already Christmas Eve!  Take some time to thank God for your blessings in this short life on earth!

So here are the pics as promised…Shaun brought his son Nicholas to the Dos for an  incredible hunt for buffalo and watusi.  They had an awesome time and everybody in camp were  interested in their harvests…what great memories they made and that’s what it’s all about!  I’m betting Shaun and Nicholas got many a funny look as they pulled their animals back to Arkansas on a flat bed trailer!  LOL…Shaun be sure to send us some pics of those incredible mounts!  Look forward to having the two of you back…great fun!

Merry Christmas everyone and God bless you and your family!

Christmas at the Dos…

Sunday, December 20th, 2009

We don’t expect snow at the Dos on Christmas but we do expect a family filled holiday with our son who is home on leave from the Army. On January 7 he will be traveling and be stationed at Fairbanks Alaska for the next three years. How exciting! To add to this, he’s getting married to a wonderful young lady named Maci while he is on leave. So, needless to say…we have a full plate at the ranch this holiday!
God bless everyone…pray for the safety of our troops…and remember to keep “Christ” in Christmas!

Alabama Slamma at the Dos!

Monday, December 7th, 2009

The Alabama Slamma, AKA Micheal Mullins, is a great guy who came to hunt with us. He got this buck on the first morning of his bow whitetail hunt! After his hunt we watched Alabama kick Florida’s rear end in a great football game! The infamous Alabama Slamma is not only a great guy but he also serves his country in the Army and will be deployed overseas in 2011. Stay safe my man and keep in touch! 015
